A refractometer should have every beekeeper. Without determining the moisture content of honey, it is difficult to determine the mature honey or not. When pumping out not mature honey, there is a huge risk of souring the whole lot of pumped honey, which at a price is not commensurate with the price of the refractometer. Mature honey should not contain more than 21% moisture in accordance with GOST. Thanks to the refractometer, the beekeeper will be able to take measures to reduce moisture in honey to avoid damage to the valuable product.
