Electric heater of bee hive 12V / 10W

Many beekeepers have long appreciated the advantages of a heater for a hive. The electric heater makes it possible to raise the temperature of the air inside the hive. And although the temperature rises not significantly, but this is enough to significantly stimulate the queen bee to lay eggs. In such a simple way, beekeepers already get an early spring bribe from strong bee colonies or the ability to make a batch.

Technical data:

•     Voltage 12V AC or DC;
•     Rated power 10W
•     The weight of the product is not more than 0.15 kg;
•     Nominal temperature of the shell surface is not more than 40ºС.
•     Preheating to a nominal temperature of at least 10 minutes;
•     The hive heater is designed for continuous operation;
•     The electrical resistance of a good device should be in the range of 13 to 16 ohms.

The heater of a beehive is an environmentally safe product. Due to the use of a metal-ceramic heating element, no harmful substances or electromagnetic radiation are emitted.

Note: when using the product, it is possible to connect the bee hive electric heaters (according to the type of the Christmas tree garland). To supply from the domestic 220V network with this connection, it is necessary to connect at least 20 electric heaters.

Using an electric heater for a beehive

1.     Install the instrument with the metal housing up on a horizontal surface;
2.     Using a screwdriver, unscrew the two screws on the connecting blocks;
3.     Strip for connecting the electric heater 6-7 mm two wires;
4.     Securely fix the two wires in the connecting shoe with screws;
5.     Connect the other end of the power cord to a power source of 12 ± 1 Volts;
6.     Make sure the heater is working after 10 minutes;
7.     Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and place it inside the hive with the plastic part of the casing facing up;
8.     The instrument is ready for operation. Turn the power on for heating.

Caution: do not allow water to enter the cabinet. Do not use gasoline, acetone or other solvents to clean the electric heater.
