With a good wire tension, the wax is "stuck" into the frame, which allows the beekeeper to get the honeycombs of regular shape with the minimum number of drone cells.

To tension the wire, it is necessary to substitute the wire of the hive frame between the wave-like wheels of the tensioner "Wave".
