There are two most common methods of labeling the uterus, with the help of opaline labels and marking the uterus with a marker. You do not need to press hard or carry a marker on the uterus, one touch will leave a round spot of white on the uterus. Marking with a marker is perfect for beginner beekeepers, but experienced beekeepers also use markers.
