The grill is made of high-quality food material - vindurine. Such thin plastic allows to effectively use these gratings in hives of all types and sizes. Lattices are easily cut to non-standard sizes of hives. Due to the thickness of 0.5 mm, the grid can be placed between hull casings of any design without violating the internal dimensions of the hive.

The width of the cell for the passage of bees of only 4.2 mm reliably protects the honey corps from access to them by the queen bee. Accuracy in size and width of the cell is ensured by an automatic production line with laser cutting under computer control.

Lattices are made in two standard sizes under 10 (380x475mm) and 12 (500x500mm) frame hives. Considering the insignificant difference in price, beekeepers often order lattices for 12 frame beehives and then cut them to their size with a reserve. The use of a larger grating makes it possible to place it on the entire surface of the walls of the hive, which will not give the uterus any chance to pass into the honey part of the hive.
