Windurin is a quality food material from which the grate is made. The use of gratings in hives of different types and sizes becomes real due to the thickness of the material from which they are made. Such a grate can easily be cut to the size of a non-standard beehive. A grid of such material can be placed between hull casings of any design without violating the internal dimensions of the hive.

Having a cell width of only 4.2mm, the grille reliably protects the honey hull from access to the queen bee. The production of such gratings is carried out under computer control with laser cutting, which guarantees accuracy in the dimensions of the cells.

Lattices are made in two standard sizes under 10 (380x475mm) and 12 (500x500mm) frame hives. Considering the insignificant difference in the price, beekeepers often order lattices on 12 frame beehives and then cut them to their size with a reserve. The use of a larger grating makes it possible to place it on the entire surface of the walls of the hive, which will not give the uterus any chance to pass into the honey part of the hive.
